BRANDT SNEDEKER WINS WITH LAMKIN GRIPS

After two top three finishes, Lamkin Ambassador Brandt Snedeker secured an early season victory at the 2016 Farmers Insurance Open.   Snedeker, equipped with Lamkin Crossline grips, put in one of the performances of his life in the final round, recording the only under par score with a 69. To put it in perspective, the final round average was 79.9, the highest ever final round average on the PGA Tour.

Snedeker battled through the awful conditions using his trusty Lamkin Crossline grips, which have been in his bag for several years.  The Tour favorite Crossline grip features a distinctive, densely spaced pattern that is arguably the best all-weather grip in the industry.  That performance was clearly on display throughout Snedeker’s remarkable final round at Torrey Pines.

Shortly after Snedeker completed his final round, play was suspended for the day due to extreme winds and heavy rain.  Come Monday morning, strong winds again challenged the returning players and as the last of the field dropped away Snedeker was crowned champion.

Many observers have said that the control and shot making that Snedeker displayed in his final round, during such extreme weather conditions, will be remembered as one of the best of the year.
