Lamkin Corporation – the original manufacturer of premium golf grips – would like to congratulate the winner of the Fort Worth Invitational on his ninth PGA Tour victory this weekend. Equipped with Lamkin REL ACE grips the long time Lamkin user played incredible golf all week, finishing at 20 under par to take the win by three shots. In so doing he matched Nick Faldo as the Englishman with most wins on the PGA Tour and moves to No.3 on the Official Golf World Rankings. The REL ACE grips as used in this win benefit from Lamkin’s super-tacky ACE 3GEN material, which dampens vibration, and combine with a unique keyhole pattern to maximize contact with the golfer’s hands and provide an incredibly secure connection to the club. This wasn’t the only win for a Lamkin player this week however, with the winner of the European Tour flagship event, the BMW PGA Championship, heading the field at Wentworth by two shots just a matter of weeks after putting Lamkin’s brand new TS1 grips in to play. The winner carded a flawless final round 68 to hold off the strong field and take the win at the tournament he had previously finished top ten in five of the last six seasons. The brand new TS1 grips, in a customized Blue, were fitted to the winners clubs just two weeks ago prior to the Valero Texas Open. The Tour inspired, high performance grip is made with the new GENESIS compound and features FINGERPRINT TECHNOLOGY micro-textures for unmatched feel and responsiveness. A reduced-taper shape reduces excess grip tension for a more fluid swing. The Tour-inspired TS1 is exceptionally durable and maintains a consistent feel in all weather conditions.
