Lamkin Sponsors Chrysler Club Championship

Inspiring players at all levels, the Chrysler Club Championship (CCC) provides amateur golfers across the country with the chance of a lifetime, and Lamkin grips will be supplying superior grip stability, traction and comfort to thousands of CCC competitors in their quest to play in a PGA Tour event.

“We’re proud to announce our sponsorship of the Fourth Annual Chrysler Club Championship,” says Bob Lamkin, president of Lamkin Corporation. “The Chrysler Club Championship is a spirited tournament of the highest caliber and in the greatest golf tradition, allowing amateurs to vie for a top title and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play in the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. We’re excited to be a part of it.”

Lamkin will provide Dual Density Torsion Control grips in 10 select Chrysler Club Championship local events and at all eight regional events.

The fastest-growing competition of its kind and one of the largest amateur golf programs in the United States, the Fourth Annual Chrysler Club Championship will welcome more than 115,000 participants which will compete in 1,200 local events and eight regional tournaments. The Top 32 men and women contestants will compete in the national finals at the Tiburón Golf Club, home of the Merrill Lynch Shootout in December, and the top man and woman, who reign victorious, will claim the title Chrysler Club Champion and proceed to play alongside PGA Tour professionals at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in January 2008.

In addition to playing for ultimate bragging rights, all local participants become Chrysler Club Championship members, which has its own payoff with discounts on Golf Digest subscriptions and Callaway Golf products, as well as incentives on Chrysler vehicle purchases and much more.
