Lamkin's New Torsion Control Putter Grips Deliver Unprecedented Feel

SAN DIEGO, California, January 19, 2007 — SAN DIEGO - America's leader in grip innovation for more than 80 years, Lamkin introduces its Dual Density Torsion Control putter grips which feature the same advanced materials technology and patented Laser-Tac(tm) surface design of its highly acclaimed Dual Density Torsion Control series. New for 2007, Dual Density Torsion Control putter grips - available in Red and Blue - provide unprecedented feel that give golfers the ultimate confidence when it matters most.

Dual Density Torsion Control putter grips are the product of truly innovative materials and a design philosophy that combines a revolutionary base layer for stability and Lamkin's patented Laser-Tac surface technology for tack and traction.

"Successful putting requires confidence and confidence begins with feel. Lamkin's new Torsion Control putter grips combine performance-enhancing materials and a unique surface technology to deliver a comfortable and confident feel," says Bob Lamkin, president and CEO of Lamkin Corporation.

Lamkin's Dual Density Torsion Control line of grips was first unveiled last year, and demand for the technologically-advanced grip quickly swept throughout the industry. Dual Density Torsion Control grips increase club control and reduce torque by incorporating 20 separate stabilizing bars, and improve player performance with Lamkin's patented Laser-Tac surface technology. Unlike traditional grip patterns that often retain moisture, the Dual Density Torsion Control grips feature a 'moisture channeling' pattern - similar to those found on high-performance tires - to enhance traction, feel and performance in all playing conditions. In addition, the Dual Density Torsion Control line of grips feature a shock-absorbing outer layer that is strategically injected around the firmer base contours of the grip.

"The unique design, innovative materials and surface technology in the Dual Density Torsion Control line of grips help golfers to maintain consistent hand pressure throughout the swing and putting stroke," adds Lamkin, "and that enhanced feel is absolutely essential for golfers to achieve greater distance, accuracy and overall performance with every shot."

Lamkin Dual Density Torsion Control putter grips are available in a paddle shape. Offered in both Red and Blue colors, the Dual Density Torsion Control putter grips feature a 0.580-in. core and are available in a standard, 58-gram weight. MSRP $8.99.
