Lamkin Introduces Custom Color Options for Crossline

SAN DIEGO, California, January 8, 2007 —The world’s leading innovator in golf grip design, Lamkin announces new custom color options in both rubber and cord models of its renowned Crossline grip. With Lamkin’s all-new Crossline Blue, Red and Pastel Series, golfers can achieve the greater stability, traction and comfort provided by the Crossline design, while enjoying a variety of new color options.

The new color options for 2007 celebrate Crossline’s achievement of 10 successful years on Tour. The Crossline is the most winning grip in Lamkin’s 80-year history and has proven itself as one of the most enduring grip designs in the history of the game.

“Many of the best golfers in the world play Crossline grips, and we’re very excited to present these new color options for 2007,” says Bob Lamkin, president and CEO of the Lamkin Corporation. “Few grip designs survive the test of time and the trials on tour, but the Lamkin Crossline Series has exceeded all expectations. This year, the Crossline is celebrating its 10th anniversary and it continues to record wins on pro tours.”

Similar to the original Crossline, the new Crossline Red and Blue grips feature a proprietary, colored, M2 rubber compound that adds tack and durability while the distinctive pattern increases hand-traction and reduces torque for ultimate performance. The Crossline pattern is available on a variety of models, including full cord, mid-size, jumbo, ladies and junior. In the Crossline cord models, soft cord fabric is placed throughout the grip, increasing traction for all-weather conditions. The new Crossline Red and Blue series are both available in standard, mid-size and full cord models and feature 0.580-inch, 0.600-inch, round and ribbed cords.

The new Crossline Pastel grips are available in Lavender, Pink and Teal, and also feature a colored version of the durable M2 rubber compound found in the original Crossline. Although it is designed for smaller hands, the Crossline Pastel Series is ideal for golfers with higher swing speeds and require Crossline’s renowned torque-reducing pattern and traction.
